Wage:$19.00 hourly What You Will Do As a Vehicle Care / Bus Driver, you will ensure safe, courteous transportation while maintaining our fleet in excellent condition. Follow all state driving laws and comply with CDL regulations Drive in a professional, courteous manner that represents Willow Valley Communities Assist passengers as needed when entering and exiting the vehicle Secure wheelchairs and ensure leg and shoulder restraints are properly fastened before movement Respond appropriately to emergencies such as fire, illness, or accidents while driving Inspect the vehicle after each route for lost items and remove all trash Refuel Transportation Department vehicles and perform preventive maintenance, including: Replacing windshield wiper blades, maintaining tire pressure, checking and refilling vital fluids, and washing and vacuuming vehicles Deliver and pick up vehicles from local maintenance and repair facilities Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs Demonstrate general knowledge of advanced vehicle systems (such as leveling air bag systems) to assist with troubleshooting and reporting issues What You Bring CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) endorsement (Required) Less than a high school education; or up to 3–6 months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Prior bus driving experience (strongly preferred) A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service Schedule & Hours Full-Time: 36–40 hours per week Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm Occasional weekends and holidays Location Millwood Service Center480 Millwood RdLancaster, PA 17603United States
