Responsibilities

ROLE AND TEAM

  • As part of the Operations Team, reporting to the Operations or designated manager, provide and record accurate information on vehicles being checked into the auction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using a handheld device, input vehicle information including the VIN number, miles, owner identification, vehicle options, repair orders and any other pertinent information.
  • Verify the VIN number being entered matches the VIN number on the shipper’s Bill of Lading.
  • Generate Stock-In sticker & Auction Sale Sticker (Vehicle Run Number) and apply it to the window.
  • Write vehicle run number on the window.
  • Issue new run stickers for vehicles not sold in prior week’s auction and input information into AuctionTrac.
  • Check gate passes to ensure vehicles are authorized to exit property
  • Observe departing vehicles to guard against theft of company property
  • Greet customers at the gate and provide prompt and courteous service
  • May perform security functions such as securing the gates, patrolling the lot, securing buildings, Verify only authorized individuals enter the property. Sound alarms and notify authorities in case of emergency
  • Maintain good operating condition of all equipment and facilities, including handheld devices and printers. Notify manager of all breakdowns and maintenance needs
