About the role GP Motor Company is seeking an experienced Detail Manager to lead our automotive detailing department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing workflow, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring vehicles are prepared to dealership standards before being photographed, advertised, and placed on the sales lot. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain both quality and production expectations in a high-volume dealership environment. What you'll do Manage and schedule detailing staff to support daily production goals Inspect completed vehicles to ensure dealership quality standards are met Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and coordinate ordering as needed Ensure timely vehicle turnaround to support inventory flow and dealership operations Train and coach team members on detailing standards, processes, and expectations Monitor team productivity and maintain accountability for quality and output Coordinate with sales, inventory, and leadership teams to prioritize vehicle readiness Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency within the detailing department Support process improvements to increase operational efficiency and vehicle throughput Qualifications Minimum 2 years of automotive detailing experience required Previous leadership or management experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced dealership environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to manage multiple priorities and production timelines Valid driver's license required Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position Schedule may include weekdays and Saturdays based on dealership needs On-site role at GP Motor Company in Kaysville, UT Work is performed in a dealership lot and shop environment with exposure to cleaning products, equipment, and varying weather conditions Compensation Annual salary of $45,000 Opportunity to earn up to $30,000 annually in performance bonuses Total annual compensation opportunity up to $75,000 Work Location: In person - GP Motor Company 652 N Kays DR Kaysville, UT 84037
