EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Negotiation and recruitment skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in vehicle dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation services preferred.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Build and expand the company’s local dispatch and towing network by sourcing and onboarding towing companies that fit the company profile.
  • Lead the vetting and onboarding process for new towing companies, including validating credentials, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., DOT regulations).
  • Provide training and support to newly onboarded drivers on the dispatch procedure, inspection, title and payment.
  • Manage daily dispatching of vehicle pickups from purchase locations to designated drop-off points, including in-house lots and partner facilities.
  • Track active shipments and provide real-time updates on dispatch status to relevant internal teams and customers.
  • Monitor delivery timelines and confirm successful vehicle arrivals.
  • Verify & approve the transport payments upon confirmation of delivery.
  • Ensure all drivers maintain compliant paperwork, including required documentation and up-to-date insurance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to delays, compliance, or driver performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of dispatch activity, driver performance, and incident reports in the ERP.
