Job Description: We are seeking experienced and reliable Security Guards to join our team. WORK LOCATION IS IN PHILADELPHIA. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling premises, by marked vehicle, on foot and inspecting buildings and access points. Your primary goal will be to detect, deter, observe, and report any suspicious activities to prevent illegal actions. THE SHIFT IS 10:30 AM TO 10:30 PM ON MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAYS.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in security or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Clear criminal history; candidates must pass a comprehensive background check, including local, state, and federal criminal history, as well as a sex offender registry.
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
  • Familiarity with report writing.
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
  • Registered as a security officer as required.
  • Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment when required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform duties such as lifting, patrolling large areas, and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
  • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
  • Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
  • Act promptly in emergencies, such as fire or medical situations, and provide assistance within the scope of your training.
  • Write detailed reports, using our digital reporting system, of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Conduct check point rounds using our digital activity log system.
  • Operate security systems, including surveillance equipment, alarms, and communication devices if necessary.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
