OVERVIEW

We are seeking a hands-on Vehicle Integration & Validation Support Engineer to support both internal development fleet vehicles and customer-facing vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring smooth integration of software and hardware systems, diagnosing and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver reliable, high-quality automotive systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with CAN bus systems and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Background in supporting both software and hardware development activities.
  • Familiarity with connectivity technologies such as BLE, NFC, LF, and UWB.
  • Proven expertise in automotive systems; electric vehicle (EV) experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer service orientation; ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with ownership of tasks.

    Pay: $60.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support for both internal development fleet vehicles and customer vehicles.
  • Collaborate daily/weekly with validation engineers and suppliers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Diagnose and determine root causes of software bugs and hardware problems using industry-standard diagnostic tools.
  • Support software and hardware development teams with troubleshooting and system integration.
  • Document, manage, and track issue reports through resolution.
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation (approximately one weekend per month).
  • Analyze diagnostic data, including:
  • Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
  • Data Identifier (DID) values
  • Telemetry data (Grafana, logs, etc.)
  • Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer)
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Engage actively in team meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
