Voluntary Action Center is seeking a part-time Vehicle Operator for our Yorkville, IL location. This position includes both morning and afternoon/evening shifts, with a flexible schedule averaging 20–29 hours per week.
In this role, you will operate company vehicles to provide safe, reliable door-to-door transportation for seniors and individuals with physical mobility challenges. It’s an excellent opportunity to earn extra income while making a meaningful impact in your community.

As a Vehicle Operator, you are responsible for delivering safe and efficient transportation services while representing Voluntary Action Center with professionalism and integrity. This includes:

  • Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulation.
  • Maintaining a clean driving record.
  • Exercising diligent care in all aspects of agency transportation programs.
  • Providing courteous, respectful service to all clients and community members.

Pre-employment drug screening, background check and DOT physical are required. There are some physical demands to this position that include sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling (approximately 50 lbs.), lifting (approximately 30 lbs.).
