Job Description

Support the Vehicle Performance Manager in ensuring vehicles meet performance, reliability, and quality goals

  • Act as liaison between engineering, testing, and project management teams from concept through validation
  • Define and document performance targets aligned with strategic goals
  • Support benchmark development within the automotive V-model process
  • Facilitate convergence workshops, translate needs, manage trade-offs, and compile feedback
  • Oversee vehicle validation activities, build planning, and commissioning
  • Secure test assets and maintain confidentiality protocols
  • Monitor and report performance status, resolve issues, and ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for development trips and testing activities

Qualifications
-

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in vehicle testing, performance engineering, or similar role
  • Familiarity with the automotive V-model process
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset across engineering disciplines
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience in vehicle-level testing, data acquisition, and performance evaluation using simulation/CAE tools
  • Certification in reactive problem solving; proficiency in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Project coordination and management skills with stakeholder communication and deliverable tracking
  • Familiarity with corporate requirements-management and performance-tracking systems for QA and compliance
