Job Title: Body Technician / Painter
Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £31,067 - £35,235
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Technician who is also proficient in painting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle body repair and painting, with additional skills in welding being a significant advantage. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Body Technician and Painter.
  • Proficiency in using painting equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment (bonus).
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Certification in auto body repair and painting.
  • Experience with modern vehicle materials and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software for estimating and documentation.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform vehicle body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming.
  • Apply paint using spray guns and other painting equipment to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Conduct welding tasks as needed for body repairs and modifications.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
