JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Vehicle Rental Operative to join our friendly team. The role is varied and hands-on, requiring both customer service and practical skills.

REQUIREMENTS

• A UK driving licence held for 3 years with no more than 6 points.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Hardworking and proactive with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role.
• Previous experience in vehicle hire, customer service, or a similar role is an advantage but not essential.

• Welcoming and serving customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Checking customer licences and processing rental agreements.
• Showing customers around the vehicle, pointing out any existing damage, and explaining key features.
• Inspecting and checking vehicles in at the end of the hire.
• Cleaning and preparing vehicles to a high standard before the next hire.
• Delivering and collecting vehicles from customers across Hampshire.
• Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and maintenance standards.
  47 hour week, including Saturday mornings on a rota.
