We are looking for a Vehicle Software Engineer, who will push the implementation of successful Over-the-Air (OTA) update campaigns. To ensure a smooth and seamless digital experience, we are currently building a team of experts operating and continuously improving Over-the-Air Functionalities upfront with our customers. As the Vehicle Software Engineer, you will be based in Ludwigsburg, Germany and will be responsible for the successful execution of OTA update campaigns and continuous improvement of the whole system from a vehicle perspective. Your involvement will span across all aspects of the OTA update process including planning, preparation, testing, monitoring, problem-solving, and implementation. We strive for continuous improvement, so from the first day, we want you to think big and find the best solutions to operate that process sustainably and feasibly.
The OTA Team is part of our Portfolio Vehicle. Within this Portfolio we work in cross-functional product teams across the globe, to develop premium customized Porsche services that are integrated seamlessly into the existing digital life of our customers. Global collaboration and synergies based on lean and data-driven processes are key to our success.

• Actively shaping the development and set up of the OTA Operation Center from a vehicle perspective (platform development, process optimization and automation, tool implementation, etc.)
• Ensuring error-free OTA update operations in coordination with different cross-functional teams
• Analyzing problems and creating solutions for consumers in the current OTA update system
• Planning and preparation of OTA update campaigns for Porsche’s customer vehicle fleet worldwide
• Tracking and troubleshooting of worldwide OTA update campaigns in coordination with the international markets and OTA operations teams
• OTA update software bundle creation and pre-testing on HIL’s and Porsche vehicle
• Status management and reporting to stakeholder management
