Responsibilities

In accordance with the team’s Supervisor and Lead Engineer, the required support will involve the following tasks:

  • Specifying technical requirements for BSOD and EPS.
  • Requirements related to legislation.
  • Requirements related to EuroNCAP.
  • Software support.
  • Creating and releasing parameter files into systems.
  • Writing diagnostics documentation for internal stakeholders.
  • Leading and participating in the SE team in relation to electrical development features of the systems.
  • Discussing technical details with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
  • Reporting status and progress on the development process to management on a regular basis.
  • Supporting releases and practical investigations.
  • Resolution finding of FRACAS, eWarp, and EPN.
  • Hands-on on-site support at Research Centre, Service, or Manufacturing.
  • Support in WPM deliverables

To best fulfill the tasks and ensure easy alignment, it is preferred to have most activities done on-site. To have a good fit with the team and required skills, the engineer is preferred to have:

  • A Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in CAN communication and diagnostic protocols.
  • Proficiency in using Vector CAN tools such as CanAlyzer and CanAPE.
  • Experience in Automotive Control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
