JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role is for Vehicle Technician. Interface to workshop and test facilities as required to achieving set tasks/goals.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Work as a member of a team to keep vehicles updated with correct level h/w and controls.
  • Arrange installation of required instrumentation with relevant workshop groups.
  • Organize vehicle test fleet activities - climatic test in chamber and test trip organisation.
  • Arranging shipment of vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Carry out administrative duties - documentation of vehicles - registration, tax etc.
  • Co-ordination and records keeping, shipping documentation, requisitioning equipment and materials.
  • Keeping and working to plans as required to support the calibration team.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience in Vehicle Testing and Powertrain Calibration activities.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Ability to Log data using calibration tools, update controls modules as required.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Engineering Related.
