Vehicle Technician – Lincoln - Main Dealership
Salary: Basic £32,000 - £43,000 | OTE £38,000 - £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30 am - 1:00 pm) – paid as overtime.
Our client in Lincoln is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career with a fantastic salary and bonus structure, along with great prospects for career progression.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A VEHICLE TECHNICIAN:

• Service, repair, and diagnose vehicles to the highest standard
• Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing
• Work on EV and Hybrid vehicles, including using electronic diagnostic tools for areas such as batteries and control systems
• Install manufacturer accessories and audio equipment
• Complete service paperwork to brand standards
• Work closely with the team to share knowledge and continuously improve
• Maintain customer satisfaction through high-quality service

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS VEHICLE TECHNICIAN ROLE:

We’re open to speak to candidates from various automotive backgrounds, including Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics, HGV Technicians, Car Mechanics, MOT Testers.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous (training provided)
• MOT Licence is a plus, but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to work to a high standard
