Onyx Performance is a busy, high‑energy garage—every day is full throttle. We specialise in servicing, engine upgrades, exhaust modifications, gearbox servicing, and tyre fitting—all carried out on-site in our workshop. We don’t handle external wheel repairs, so our focus is sharp on what we do best.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in engine work, servicing, exhaust and gearbox tasks
• Welding proficiency is essential
• Own tools preferred
• Strong problem-solving ability with meticulous attention to detail
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A valid driving licence is advantageous—but not a must

THE ROLE

We’re seeking a hardworking, motivated mechanic who thrives under pressure, brings excellent problem-solving ability, and has a keen eye for detail. You’ll be an independent operator and a strong team player, ready to dive into a fast-moving environment where every day presents varied and exciting challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct servicing, engine repairs, and performance enhancements
• Modify and tailor exhaust systems
• Service and maintain gearboxes with precision
• Fit and change tyres—all done in-house
• Apply welding skills for repairs and custom jobs (welding essential)
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
• Keep accurate records of work performed in a busy workshop setting
