We are currently looking for additional Vehicle Motor Technicians & MOT Testers for our vehicle servicing , repair and MOT station (class 4.5 & 7) for all types of vehicles up to 3500kgs.
The candidate will have a proven track record of quality, have diagnostics skills and be able to rectify mechanical and electrical faults, from diagnoses to completion, be able to carry out health checks , ability to use diagnostic equipment log and advise accordingly. A requirement is the ability to explain diagnoses to customers over the phone or face to face in a professional manner.
The role will include servicing, repairs and vehicle maintenance (cambelt’s, clutches, general servicing, tyre fitting and tracking and general repairs) to a professional standard. Engine stripping and rebuilding, gear box removal and refit, and transmission replacement.
You must be able to work in a very busy environment, and work as a team player.
Experience required;
Qualified to NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds equivalent or time served with 5 years minimum experience.
Hold a current MOT Tester qualification for Class 4 & 7 or Class 4,5 & 7.
Must hold a valid, clean full UK Driving Licence.
The successful candidate should be friendly, have a good sense of humour, be reliable, hard working, and be customer focused.
Candidate must have their own tools.
Working Hours: (43.75 hours a week).
Mon - Fri: 08:00 - 17:30.
Expected Start Date: Immediate or ASAP.
Job : Full-time, Permanent.
Salary Negotiable; dependent age and experience.

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,550.57 per year
