JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled vehicle technician/MOT tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and competence in replacing clutches and cambelts, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to lift heavy items as required during inspections and repairs.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interaction.
  • A valid MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential; training may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent time management.
  • NVQ/VCQ Level 3 is required.
  • Valid UK Driving License.
