Location: Derby
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm (with a degree of flexibility as long as 42 hours is fulfilled) with no weekend work or bank holidays!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s workshop in Derby.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a renowned fleet company with plenty of progression available with fantastic benefits available. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

VEHICLE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicants must have Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualified to be considered and be confident in diagnostic work
  • Applicants must have a full UK driving license

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
