Location: Chelmsford
Salary: Basic £30,000 – £45,000 + OTE up to £6,600 + £2,000 EV Qualification Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Saturday Rota: 1 in 3, 8:00am – 1:00pm (paid overtime)

Working alongside a talented group of technicians and under an experienced management team, the successful Vehicle Technician will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, conducting diagnostics, repairs, and services to manufacturer standards using the latest technology and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out vehicle health checks and diagnostics using cutting-edge equipment
  • Performing routine servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer and customer standards
  • Completing warranty repairs and submitting accurate, compliant documentation
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure faults have been successfully rectified
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, accuracy, and attention to detail in all work
  • What We’re Looking For:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience as a Vehicle Technician or mechanic (dealer or independent background)
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Motivated team player with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Brand experience, MOT testing, and EV knowledge desirable (training provided if not held)
