Vehicle Technician
We are recruiting on behalf of our Leominster based client for a Vehicle Technician to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for a capable, hardworking individual to join a small, family-run dealership, rooted in rural Herefordshire, independently managed with a genuine passion for their customers. The client is willing to consider fully trained and competent candidates as well as those mechanically minded candidates with a willingness to learn who are hoping to start a career as a Vehicle Technician.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WITH THIS ROLE:

• Pay rate: Starting from £30’000 per annum
• Working hours: 8:30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (37.5hour week)
• Permanent basis
• Ongoing training and development opportunities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Servicing vehicles – Performing routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, brakes, and filters.
• Carrying out internal and external repairs – Fixing or replacing damaged components inside and outside the vehicle, including body panels, trim, seating, and fixtures.
• Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) – Conducting thorough checks before the vehicle goes to a customer to ensure everything is working correctly and meets quality standards
• Fitting interior and exterior accessories – Installing bespoke items to enhance the vehicle’s usability and comfort for the customer
• Performing gas, electrical, and damp tests – Testing appliances, wiring, gas systems, and moisture levels to ensure safety, compliance, and long-term durability.
• Supporting ad hoc workshop tasks – Helping with general duties around the workshop and occasionally assisting customers or colleagues when required
