JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a qualified and experienced car mechanic looking for a new opportunity? Stourbridge MOT and Repairs Centre is hiring! We are a trusted and busy garage, providing high-quality vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOTs.
We’re looking to employ someone to lead our team of mechanics. The successful applicant will not only be highly knowledgeable and skilled, but must have patience and understanding to assist apprentices and other staff. It will essentially be your workshop to run. Applicants will also need a high level of customer communication skills and be fully capable to carry out all types of minor and major repairs. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, servicing vehicles, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

✅ Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) with at least 5 years experience of working in a workshop since qualifying.
✅ A valid UK driving licence
✅ Experience in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models, with confidence to carry out larger repairs such as Cam Belts, Clutches etc
✅ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
✅ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

SALARY:

✅ Negotiable from £34000
✅ 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays and between Christmas week off (return 2nd Jan)
