VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

We are looking to appoint a Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated team. We are a busy well-established independent, village garage. We provide servicing, repair, tyres, diagnostics and class 4 MOT’s. The workshop is well equipped, modern and well resourced.
Hours – Monday to Friday working on a 42.5 hour week with overtime available. We would also consider part time/flexible hours for the right candidate.
The vacancy would suit an experienced Technician who is capable of undertaking fault diagnosis and repairs to an extremely high standard. The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of highly skilled vehicle technicians and will need to work efficiently as a key team member to create a safe and productive environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Vehicle Technician to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Full drivers license
Have a fully equipped tool box/chest suitable for the role
Experience of using diagnostic equipment & diagnosing faults
Able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and have a good work ethic/self-motivated.
Ability to provide friendly customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
Maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
MOT testing an advantage but not essential. Training provided if required

Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.
Servicing/general repair work of all makes and models of vehicles.
MOT repairs and rectification.
Follow health and safety regulations.
Ensuring that your workstation is clean and tidy at all times.
