Overview Vehicle Transporter Location: West Texas & New Mexico Job Description: Bergaila is seeking a Logistics & Fleet Runner to support daily fleet operations by transporting trucks and vehicles between remote work sites, mechanic shops, and dealerships in West Texas and New Mexico. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient vehicle availability, timely maintenance, and equipment distribution to field teams. The ideal candidate will have experience handling fleet logistics, performing basic vehicle inspections and minor repairs, and delivering essential equipment such as PPE and tools. Key Responsibilities: Transport company vehicles and equipment between various locations, including remote job sites, repair shops, and dealerships. Operate a truck hauler trailer for multi-vehicle transport as needed. Perform basic vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness and compliance. Conduct minor repairs and equipment installations, such as tire changes and accessory fittings. Clean and prepare trucks for re-issue to field personnel. Coordinate with mechanics and fleet manager regarding maintenance schedules and repair needs. Pickup and Deliver Trucks, PPE, tools, and other essential equipment to job sites. Maintain detailed records of vehicle transfers, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with Bergaila employees and clients to coordinate fleet operations. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional presence in all interactions. Requirements: 1 to 5 years recent experience in vehicle transport, logistics, or fleet operations preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required). Experience with OneStep GPS preferred Ability to operate a truck hauler trailer and transport multiple vehicles. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance, including tire changes and minor equipment installation. Strong customer service and communication skills for working with employees and clients. Ability to work independently and travel frequently between locations. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage logistics efficiently. Ability to lift to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while operating vehicles. Flexibility to work non-regular hours, including evenings and weekends, based on vehicle status and operational needs.
