As a Sales Associate at the Signature Boutique, you will be responsible for delivering a unique and memorable shopping experience to our guests, ensuring a personalized, elegant service aligned with Belmond’s standards of excellence. Your role will be to understand clients’ needs, present products with knowledge and sensitivity, and contribute to a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere within the boutique. Key Responsibilities: Provide attentive, discreet, and excellent service to guests, delivering a distinctive experience Identify customer needs and guide them on products, features, and usage Ensure the organization, cleanliness, and presentation of the boutique Monitor inventory and report restocking needs Operate the cash register, performing checks at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accurate cash handling Organize documents and records related to sales and cash transactions Act proactively in resolving guest requests, complaints, or suggestions Stay up to date with hotel and city programming, offering relevant information to guests Provide special attention to VIP guests, ensuring an even more personalized service High school diploma Previous experience in customer service (retail experience is a plus) Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage) Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Courtesy, empathy, and a positive attitude Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proactivity and initiative Excellent communication skills Professional demeanor aligned with high-end environments This position offers a fixed salary plus commission on sales (starting from the second month of employment), which varies according to individual performance and boutique traffic. In practice, the estimated total gross monthly compensation ranges from BRL 3,300 to BRL 5,200, depending on sales volume and seasonality.
