Vending Equipment Delivery Driver - PDFS POSITION SUMMARY Deliver and pick up equipment to and from customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Deliver equipment to new customers. * Replace old equipment for customers. * Pick up machines from business that are not our customers anymore. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Work well with others in a team-orientated atmosphere. * Other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS * 18 years or older * High school diploma, GED or equivalent * Valid Driver’s License * Insurable driving record (up to 10 years preferred) * Will require a DOT medical card (can be achieved on-site) * Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math * Must possess thorough understanding of MEM process and procedures ABILITIES * Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. * Review and adhere to all Pee Dee Food Service policies, including safety. * Good communication skills, both verbal and written. * Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and multi-tasking skills. * Must be self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT * Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. * The ability to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds. * Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. * This is a two or more employee job. * Requires heavy lifting most of the time. * Constantly required to stand, walk, and sit. * Must be able to climb into and out of truck throughout the shift (8-10 hours per day). * Must frequently lift, push and pull up to 800 pounds using lift gate, pallet jack, delivery sled, hand trucks and other manually operated equipment. * While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical equipment, outside weather conditions, and high, precarious place.
