We are looking for a dedicated Vending Operator with a passion for delivering WOW customer service through the efficient and effective operating of vending machines on a route of existing customers. While training is given our vending operators must be reliable, service driven and of a professional disposition with excellent communication skills.
This position will cover Truro and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE - VENDING OPERATOR

  • Clean and replenish coffee, snack and cold drinks machines ensuring the hygiene standards are maintained.
  • ​Ensure machines are fully stocked and monitor to ensure no out of date products.
  • ​Collect cash from machines when required and return to the depot.
  • ​Record meter readings, manage stock and visits on the bespoke vending software.
  • The delivery of exceptional customer service by carrying out a broad range of maintenance tasks, making sure all equipment is left in a good working order, with customers briefed on the issue.
  • Execute corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance procedures to ensure a high level of machine utilisation.
  • To complete maintenance as required, ensuring customers are briefed on system use prior to leaving site.
  • Complete all necessary on-line job sheets, time sheets and supporting documentation as required, ensuring it is reviewed and completed prior to leaving premises, to validate client satisfaction.
  • ​Complete stock takes of vehicles monthly and carry out daily vehicle checks.
  • ​Carry out minor fixes where possible and report other jobs to customer services.
  • ​Comply with onsite procedures and company health and safety procedures, bringing any risks to the attention of company management.

  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full /clean driving licence
  • Experience not essential but desirable, full training will be provided
  • Previous driving/cleaning experience is desirable.
