Description

The Vendor Coordinator is responsible for managing vendor relationships, contracts, and supply logistics across multiple urgent care centers. This role ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, and service quality by coordinating equipment purchasing, bulk purchasing, and vendor onboarding. The Vendor Coordinator also supports new site development and contributes to operational excellence through strategic vendor management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and prioritize tasks
  • Analytical mindset with attention to cost control and service quality
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management systems
  • Proficient at researching new equipment and supply needs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in vendor coordination or procurement, preferably in healthcare or multi-site operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and vendor management software
  • Knowledge of healthcare-related compliance standards is a plus
