PURPOSE:
The Enterprise Vendor Manager (EVM) is responsible for facilitating, managing, and monitoring activities for Strategic Vendors that are critical to CareFirst operations. The EVM collaborates with the Business Units receiving services from such vendors and supports the overall health, relationship, issues, and strategic direction of the relationship.
As the Manager, you will be directly supporting the implementation of the Vendor Management Office (VMO) in alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization. The ideal candidate must understand contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with our vendors to ensure effective delivery of committed products, services, and solutions.
