ADVERT:

Hain Celestial is currently recruiting for a VMO Analyst to join our Global Business Services team on a fixed-term contract. This is a remote position, offering flexibility to work from home with occasional visits to our Leeds or Cambridge offices for collaboration. As a VMO Analyst, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence in our Vendor Management Office (VMO), ensuring contract compliance, process efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with procurement to manage and maintain third-party vendor performance, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
This role is ideal for an individual with strong analytical skills, a structured approach to process documentation, and previous experience in vendor management or procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management Operations: Oversee and execute operational VMO activities such as contract volume tracking, pricing updates, and supplier onboarding.
  • Data Analysis: Assess data needs, identify data sources, extract and analyze data to provide meaningful insights that inform business decisions.
  • Quality Frameworks & SLAs: Define and implement quality frameworks and SLAs to ensure vendor performance aligns with business objectives.
  • Process Documentation: Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job aids.
  • Stakeholder Management: Plan, coordinate, and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely follow-ups and actionable outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within vendor management and implement necessary changes.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure adherence to agreed terms and service levels.

What You Will Need:

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a Vendor Management Office (VMO), ideally within the food or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.
  • Proven experience working with third-party vendors in a vendor management or procurement function.
  • Preferred: Experience in CPG Purchasing, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Accounts Payable (AP).

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of delivering insights and influencing decision-makers.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a natural aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to extract, interpret, and present data-driven insights.
  • Experience in process documentation, including creating SOPs and job aids.
  • Demonstrated ability in defining and implementing SLAs and quality frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in the O365 suite of tools and apps.

Additional Information:

  • This is a remote role with occasional visits to our Leeds or Cambridge offices for in-person collaboration.
  • The contract is initially for 6 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
