Description
Vendor Strategy & Sourcing: Collaborate with channel leads to develop and implement a comprehensive vendor strategy for marketing execution, identifying key vendor categories (e.g. digital platforms, content creation/management/deployment, print services). Conduct market research to identify potential new vendors, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing vendor management. Participate in the vendor selection process, including RFI/RFP development, proposal evaluation, and capabilities assessments. Assist sourcing and business leads on negotiating contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure favorable terms, cost efficiency, and alignment with business needs. Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendor partners, acting as the primary point of contact. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal marketing teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Manage the lifecycle of vendor contracts, including renewals, renegotiations, and terminations, in collaboration with legal and procurement departments. Assess and mitigate vendor-related risks, including operational, financial, security, and compliance risks (e.g., data privacy, brand guidelines). Ensure all vendor activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Develop contingency plans for critical vendor services to ensure business continuity. Process Improvement & Innovation: 6-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry experience. Requires attention to detail, advanced project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once. Creative problem solving and sense of ownership. Solid communication, presentation and project management skills. Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
