Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager to oversee subcontractor relationships and manage the pricing, scheduling, and completion of preventative maintenance (PM) programs. This role is responsible for negotiating vendor agreements, controlling service costs, and ensuring PM services are delivered on time and within margin targets. This position plays a key role in maintaining service quality, vendor performance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and onboard qualified HVAC subcontractors Negotiate vendor contracts, including labor rates, PM pricing, trip charges, and material markups Maintain and track vendor agreements and compliance documentation Price customer preventative maintenance agreements to meet margin goals Create, manage, and maintain PM schedules Monitor PM completion and follow up on missed or delayed services Collaborate with Operations, Dispatch, and Finance teams to align vendor capacity and service delivery Track vendor performance and address cost, quality, or compliance issues Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor management, service operations, or preventative maintenance (HVAC or related industry) Proven experience negotiating contracts and service rates Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors and schedules Understanding of preventative maintenance programs and service pricing Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience HVAC subcontractor management experience Familiarity with CMMS or field service management systems Experience supporting multi-site or regional service programs What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Benefits package [medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc.] Opportunity to make a direct impact on service quality and profitability Stable, growing company with long-term career potential #AuthorityHVAC
