VENDOR MANAGER

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Vendor Manager for a 14-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

VENDOR MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Vendor Manager will manage Third Party Business Arrangements throughout the Third Party Management Lifecycle (TPML). This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on vendor performance, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and policies, and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships.

VENDOR MANAGER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 5 years of Vendor Management experience
  • 5 years of experience with Third-Party Management Lifecycle
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal & time management skills

VENDOR MANAGER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Banking Experience (strong asset)
  • Prior risk assessment experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Coupa and Ariba
Responsibilities
  • Manage Third Party Business Arrangements through all stages of the TPML.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on vendor performance against SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs.
  • Identify and escalate issues to mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
  • Lead problem resolution for complex issues and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with TD’s policies and standards.
  • Conduct internal and external research projects and support the development of presentations to management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business needs and manage transitions or terminations of vendors.
