Description Powerhouse is seeking a Vendor Risk & Compliance Manager to lead the oversight of vendor compliance, insurance verification, and risk management processes that support our nationwide exterior services programs. This role is critical in protecting the business while enabling our operations teams to move quickly and confidently with vendor partners. The individual in this role will collaborate with leadership, legal, finance, and operations to manage risk, strengthen vendor governance, and ensure compliance across our programs. What You’ll Do Lead the vendor risk and compliance program, ensuring vendor partners meet contractual, insurance, and regulatory requirements. Oversee vendor Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and insurance documentation to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Manage and coach the Risk & Compliance team, ensuring efficient workflows and responsive communication with vendors. Implement and track KPIs related to vendor compliance and risk management performance. Serve as a key partner to Legal, Finance, and Operations on vendor agreements, risk exposure, and compliance initiatives. Act as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders regarding risk and compliance matters. Maintain oversight of lawsuit tracking and risk documentation related to the Exterior Services division. Support leadership by providing regular reporting on risk exposure, compliance performance, and mitigation strategies. Provide guidance and training to internal teams on risk management and compliance best practices. Assist with oversight of the company’s captive insurance program to align with enterprise risk management goals. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Risk Management, or related field preferred). 5+ years of experience in risk management, vendor compliance, insurance, contract management, or a related discipline. Experience working with vendor agreements, insurance verification, or compliance programs. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner across multiple departments. Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems. Work Environment / Physical Requirements This role is primarily performed in a standard office environment. The position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking, along with regular use of a computer and other office equipment. Employees must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners via phone, video, and in person. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.
