We are looking for a Vendor Success & Operations Lead to oversee vendor relationships, streamline operations, and ensure excellence in execution. This role is central to maintaining vendor satisfaction, optimizing vendor offerings, and ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, clients, and delivery operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in vendor management, operations, hospitality, catering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with corporate catering, food delivery, or event management platforms is a strong asset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM, operations, or vendor management tools.

Responsibilities
  • Vendor Onboarding & Management
  • Onboard new vendors and ensure complete, accurate, and attractive profiles on the Food Mamba platform.
  • Maintain strong communication with existing vendors, ensuring profiles, menus, and pricing are always up to date.
  • Work with vendors to gather competitive quotes for events and orders.
  • Operational Coordination
  • Designate vendors for Mamba Daily (office meal program) and ensure menus are tailored, accessible, and functional on both the web and mobile platforms.
  • Assign and coordinate drivers for all orders, ensuring timely deliveries and real-time communication.
  • Update and manage vendor, order, and delivery details across the Food Mamba platform.
  • Monitor vendor payments and ensure all payouts are made on time.
  • Vendor & Client Success
  • Share vendor capabilities and service updates with the sales team to support client acquisition.
  • Understand client requirements, recommend the best-fit vendors, and collaborate to deliver outstanding experiences.
  • Handle escalations with vendors in cases of delays, service issues, or disputes.
  • Proactively track vendor satisfaction and resolve concerns to build long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic & Team Leadership
  • Build expertise in vendor menus, pricing structures, and offerings to support both sales and operations.
  • Potentially manage a small team of interns or junior coordinators to support day-to-day operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of vendor success processes and operational efficiency.
