Company Description IOTA Group, a leading Swiss international technical consulting firm, is seeking a qualified Vendors & Subcontractors QC Lead to support projects for one of its clients in Iraq. The role supports a large-scale upstream oil and gas development in the Middle East, delivered for a major international energy company. The project includes the construction of a new Central Processing Facility (CPF) with a production capacity exceeding 200 kbopd, alongside extensive drilling and interfacing infrastructure. The development is executed to international standards, with strong focus on HSE, quality assurance, supply chain integrity, CAPEX control, and coordination across multiple contractors and subcontractors in a complex international environment. Job Description Reporting to the CPF-2 Quality Lead, the Vendors & Subcontractors QC Lead is responsible for quality oversight of vendor and subcontractor activities during procurement and EPSCC execution phases, including: Establish and implement quality follow-up, inspection, reporting, and progress monitoring tools in coordination with the main contractor. Monitor and review contractor procurement and subcontracting activities to ensure compliance with contractual and project quality requirements. Assess and oversee the Project Supply Chain Quality Surveillance Program, including compliance with ISO 9001:2015. Perform quality assessments, audits, and inspections at vendors, suppliers, fabrication yards, and subcontractor facilities. Manage, follow up, and close non-conformances in coordination with contractor and project quality teams. Interface with project stakeholders to resolve quality issues impacting vendor deliveries or subcontractor activities. Ensure proper submission, review, and control of quality documentation through the project document management system. Promote a strong safety culture, ethical conduct, and confidentiality across all quality-related activities. Lead and supervise vendor QC inspection resources assigned to the project. Qualifications Diploma or Degree in a relevant technical discipline. Minimum 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas or heavy industry sector, within large-scale onshore engineering, procurement, and construction projects. Strong experience in quality supervision, inspection coordination, procurement quality, welding, and NDT. Experience in engineering disciplines is an advantage. Proven ability to manage interfaces with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors in a multicultural environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with ability to work under pressure. Fluent English is mandatory.
