Description Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Veneer Grader to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and organization of veneer materials used in production. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong teamwork skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards in both product quality and workplace cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: Grade veneer according to species and specifications. Pull remakes and veneer for packets as needed. Maintain a clean and organized veneer room. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (must be forklift certified). Work independently and collaboratively with team members. Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks. Ensure consistent and reliable attendance. Requirements Qualifications: Forklift Certification required. Ability to identify and differentiate veneer species and understand grading specifications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and handle veneer materials. Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
