Pay Rate: $25 - $28 /hour Civil Engineer Intern Co-Op Delve Underground is seeking a Staff Engineer Intern to assist with Design and Construction Activities including field inspections, daily reporting, and maintenance of drawings and specifications and estimates for a variety of projects including, trenchless construction, and tunnel & shaft construction. Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of ventilation design calculations and requirements for tunnels Assist with the development of contract drawings and specifications Assist with technical memoranda and other documents supporting the technical basis of designs Assist with civil, geotechnical, and hydraulics engineers in solving highly multi-disciplinary design problems Assist coordination with the AutoCAD technicians and other members of the drawing production team for the development of plans, sections, and details Communicate effectively with other designers and construction management staff Work on a variety of office and field assignments Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled college student working towards a Bachelor's of Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar program Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD programs Candidates should be able to multi-task and prioritize work, have strong communication skills and be able to work in a team environment Strong analytical and technical communication skills ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
