Responsibilities

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

At FutureSight, we co-create transformational ventures with exceptional entrepreneurs who courageously discover and fulfill their life’s work. By doing so, we deliver extraordinary returns to our stakeholders.
As a Venture Analyst, you’ll be on the front line of this mission—helping shape which opportunities we pursue, validating real market needs, and creating the decision artifacts that determine whether we invest, pivot, or stop. You’ll live our values every day: Servant Leadership, Co-creation, Skin in the Long Game, Courage, and Transformational Growth.
This is not just another analyst role. It’s your chance to contribute directly to the next generation of startups while learning hands-on from experienced founders and venture builders.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (AND ACHIEVING)

  • Shape investment decisions by owning the Validation Memo—a narrative synthesis that integrates research, customer interviews, SME feedback, and scoring models to guide go/no-go calls.
  • Turn data into clarity by mapping key assumptions, highlighting risks, and recommending next steps for each opportunity.
  • Accelerate venture validation by integrating Lean Canvases, Value Proposition Canvases, and market sizing artifacts into decision-ready deliverables.
  • Support founders and leads—collaborating with Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, Validation Leads, and in some cases recruited founders during stage 2 (solution validation) projects, ensuring they have the insights and structured evidence needed to move forward.
  • Learn from the market directly by participating in customer interviews and debriefs, translating raw input into actionable insights.
  • Spot opportunity and risk early by conducting market and competitive research, monitoring emerging trends, and assessing execution feasibility.
  • Ensure studio alignment by circulating drafts, incorporating team feedback, and presenting findings clearly to Studio Leads and the Investment Committee.
