GHARAGE Ventures is looking for a highly motivated intern to join our Investment team for up to 6 months. Are you passionate about startups, disruptive technologies and emerging trends? Tasks

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and promising startups that align with our investment thesis
• Seek and review potential investment opportunities using industry reports, databases and other resources
• Develop and implement effective search strategies to identify companies that meet our investment objectives
• Support in the preparation of investment memorandi highlighting the key aspects of each potential investment, including market opportunity, business model, competitive landscape, and team expertise
• Assist the investment team with due diligence, including researching the target company’s financials, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying potential risks and opportunities
• Assist in tracking the performance of existing portfolio companies and prepare reports and presentations for reviews
• Self-information to keep up to date with the industry trends and innovations

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s program in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Strong analytical and research skills in market research and business modelling (e.g. market sizing, analyzing competitive landscapes or financial modelling)
• Proactive attitude, attention to details, and the ability to priorities and manage multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill with the ability of a team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
• Highly motivated, results-orientated and the drive to improve processes
• Fluent in English (verbally and in writing)
