Description
As a Venue Assistant supporting operations at Silverstone Circuit, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences during race weekends, live events, and major entertainment programmes. Working across bars, kiosks, concessions, and retail catering outlets, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of fast-paced F&B operations. You will work closely with the Venue Managers, operational teams, suppliers, and event staff to ensure outstanding customer service, operational efficiency, and strong financial performance while maintaining the high standards associated with Freemans Event Partners. * Excellent organisational and communication skills with a proactive and hands-on approach. * A passion for delivering exceptional customer service within busy event environments. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume operational settings. * Competent in Microsoft Office and industry-standard systems such as EPOS and stock management platforms. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and major event schedules, including race weekends at Silverstone Circuit. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high operational standards across multiple outlets. * Positive attitude with a willingness to support different operational areas as required. * Support the end-to-end planning and delivery of food and beverage operations across assigned areas at Silverstone Circuit. * Assist in delivering efficient and profitable F&B services while supporting financial targets and revenue growth. * Ensure all catering outlets, bars, kiosks, and concessions reflect the professionalism and operational standards of Freemans Event Partners. * Support compliance with stock controls, retail pricing structures, and margin protection strategies. * Assist with post-event reconciliation processes and accurate operational reporting. * Complete event sales declarations and operational administration within required deadlines. * Identify opportunities to improve speed of service, guest experience, and operational efficiency. * Work collaboratively with internal departments to support event activations, staff feeding, and additional operational requirements. * Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, contractors, and venue stakeholders. * Support the recruitment, training, and motivation of casual and event-based F&B teams alongside Venue Managers and Staffing teams. * Promote staff welfare and ensure safe, fair, and professional working conditions during events. * Assist in creating a positive team culture through coaching, support, and effective communication. * Collaborate with Venue Managers to ensure staffing, stock levels, and outlet readiness align with event demands. * Ensure full compliance with company policies, food safety legislation, hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations. * Support outlet maintenance schedules and ensure all units are operationally ready for events. * Maintain high standards of cleanliness, product quality, and customer service across all public-facing areas. * Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback and direct interaction, ensuring any issues are resolved quickly and professionally. * Champion continuous improvement across service delivery, operational standards, and guest experience.
