VENUE MAINTENANCE & GARDENING ASSISTANT

As a Venue Maintenance & Gardening Assistant, you will be reporting to Ida’s Event Lead and Studio Manager to ensure the floral studio, event gallery, and surrounding areas are well-maintained, clean, and welcoming. This role involves supporting the upkeep of the venue, assisting with plant care and gardening tasks, and helping to create an inviting environment for customers and events.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plant care and use of gardening tools.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work (lifting, bending, outdoor tasks).
• Attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and inviting.

• Venue Maintenance
• Carry out general upkeep of the floral studio, event gallery & courtyard (cleaning, minor repairs, furniture setup).
• Ensure fixtures, fittings, and equipment are in good working condition, reporting issues promptly.
• Assist with setup and takedown of decorations, furniture, and floral installations for events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, tools, and supplies.
