    We’re on the lookout for a passionate and reliable Venue Manager (2IC) to support the General Manager in leading our dynamic team and delivering exceptional guest experiences across bar, bistro, and accommodation services.
    As the Venue Manager, you’ll be an essential part of the leadership team assisting with day-to-day operations, managing staff, and helping drive performance and service standards. You’ll take the reins during busy periods and in the General Manager’s absence, ensuring the venue runs smoothly and maintains its welcoming atmosphere and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across the bar, bistro, and accommodation
  • Lead, train, and inspire a team of hospitality staff
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain our warm, welcoming vibe
  • Manage bookings, events, and functions
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with care and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, OH&S, and RSA requirements
  • Stock control, ordering, and supplier liaison
  • Manage rosters and budgets

About You:

  • Minimum 2+ years in a venue management or senior supervisory role
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • A passion for craft beer, great food, and quality service
  • RSA certification and knowledge of licensing requirements
  • Calm under pressure, with a proactive and hands-on approach
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and cool under pressure
