INTRODUCTION:
Are you a hospitality leader with a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences? Do you thrive on curating premium events, activating brand moments and running smooth, high-performing operations?
WHAT’S INVOLVED:
We’re looking for a dynamic Venue Manager to take the reins at Tamar Ridge - an iconic wine destination perched above the Tamar River. From intimate tastings and seasonal activations to high-end events and wine-led experiences, this role offers the opportunity to shape on of Tasmania’ most scenic cellar doors into a hub of excellence, innovation and connection.
You’ll work closely with our onsite friends at Turner Stillhouse - makers of award-winning spirits - to create joint experiences that showcase the best of the region. From cellar door to stillhouse, it’s a unique opportunity to lead in a collaborative and vibrant visitor destination.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact - blending creative event execution, team development and strong commercial acumen. If you’re ready to lead a passionate team, champion cool-climate wines and take Tamar Ridge to new heights, we want to hear from you.
Every day will be different, but some of your role responsibilities include:
ABOUT US:
Brown Family Wine Group is one of Australia’s most loved and respected wine companies built on over 130 years’ experience in quality winemaking, market leading innovation and family values that are at the heart of everything we do as a business.
Our portfolio has grown over time to now include market leading wine brands such as: Devil’s Corner from the East Coast of Tasmania, Tamar Ridge and Pirie from Tamar Valley Tasmania, Innocent Bystander from the Yarra Valley and of course Brown Brothers from Milawa Victoria, the spiritual home of our business.
At Tamar Ridge, we have a saying: it takes 50% Sidney Nolan and 50% Albert Einstein to craft the perfect Pinot Noir. That is to say in our 25-plus years of production, we’ve balanced the art of winemaking with the science of discovery, to master a nuanced and truly extraordinary grape variety.
If you’re a dynamic leader with a proven background in hospitality and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through wine, food and innovative events, this role could be perfect for you!
