YOU BRING:

  • 1+ years in a venue management role (alternatively, if you have a couple of years’ assistant manager experience and you’re looking for your big break)
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge - although we have in-house training programs to help build on your knowledge and fill any gaps
  • Proven leadership with experience managing budgets, rosters and team performance
  • A hands-on, guest-focused approach and a love of hospitality
  • RSA certification (essential) and familiarity with POS and booking systems

Responsibilities

As Venue Manager, you’ll bring passion and expertise to the following areas:

  • Lead the Team: Coach, develop and inspire your crew across floor and bar, and partner with the Head Chef to do the same in the kitchen.
  • Guest Experience: Set the tone for service and atmosphere - from relaxed Gin & Tea afternoons to buzzing Friday nights.
  • Sales & Events: Drive bookings for our signature dinners, tastings, and private functions.
  • Financial Management: Take ownership of revenue, COGS, wages and profitability.
  • Community & Loyalty: Know our regulars, grow repeat business and connect with the local neighbourhood.
