Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation and success of Waters Edge. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of quality, service, and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including front-of-house, kitchen, bar, and function areas.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of hospitality professionals. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Financial Performance: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure every guest receives an exceptional and memorable experience. Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Event & Function Management: Work closely with clients to plan and execute successful weddings, corporate events, and private functions.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure the venue operates in full compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Inventory & Supplier Management: Manage stock levels, place orders, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
