We are a stunning 200-acre private estate in Buckinghamshire, boasting two lakes, iconic old woodland, and fantastic gardens and parkland. Our venue includes a golf course, a full spa, and sporting facilities, making it the perfect location for a variety of occasions. We have a rich history of hosting weddings, birthdays, dinners, and large social gatherings, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests. We are looking for a motivated Mid-Level Sales Representative to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with an excellent manner on the phone, via email, and in person.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to go the extra mile for clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in hours and days is essential, depending on client availability to view the property, including weekends.
  • Must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle; ability to commute to the site daily for this in-person role.
  • Speaking multiple languages is a plus but not a requirement.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Mid-Level Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing relationships with potential clients. You will work closely with our marketing team and venue staff to ensure that our event space is effectively promoted and utilised to its full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions for their events.
  • Conduct personal, open, and virtual venue tours, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for potential clients.
  • Manage the entire client show round process, from initial visit checks to post-visit follow-ups, converting visits into bookings.
  • Book site visits and confirm bookings in advance to avoid losing out on sales opportunities.
  • Provide cost estimates for venue hire and advise on price quotes for a variety of events, with guidance from the venue.
  • Address any questions clients may have throughout the booking process.
  • Maintain excellent phone, email, and in-person communication manners.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with various departments within the venue (Events, bar team, chefs, security) to provide accurate information on catering and event management.
  • Manage the transition of bookings from viewing through to deposit and event day.
  • Act as a point of contact for guests throughout the booking process, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Find creative and innovative ways to highlight the venue’s key features.
  • Conduct research on the competitive market to inform sales strategies.
