SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a hospitality management or operations role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance requirements (liquor, health & safety, food safety).
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, stock, and cost controls.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field (desirable).
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Venue & Service Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This role will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive service excellence across our venue. The successful candidate will manage staff, lead training and development, maintain stock and service standards, and implement initiatives to improve customer experience and business performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, direct and coordinate daily operations across front of house and service functions.
  • Manage and supervise staff, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance development.
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering and cost controls to meet operational and financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, workplace health and safety, and all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement service standards, policies, and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer feedback and resolve service issues to maintain our reputation for excellence.
  • Support marketing and promotional initiatives to grow revenue and enhance brand presence.
  • Collaborate with senior management to deliver strategic business objectives.
