Exciting Opportunity: Senior Software Developer
We’re seeking a talented Developer to join our vibrant Network Platform team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenges, with a focus on creating innovative solutions. You will be supporting the team from a security perspective. As the Network Platform team continues to build out the new foundation for the future of Verafin-Nasdaq’s cloud, security must be built in from the ground up to ensure data and network boundaries are enforced. You will gain an in-depth understanding of our core network and will get to solution ways to keep it protected and secure.

What You’ll Do:

  • Current and ongoing understanding of AWS and cloud architecture solutions
  • Solid grasp of different AWS Networking patterns with a focus on highly-available, multi-account architecture (AWS VPC, AWS Cloud WAN, AWS Private Link, AWS Organizations)
  • Design, develop and implement network features that meet strict security and compliance requirements (AWS Network Firewall, AWS WAF, traffic encryption standards)
  • Design, develop, and implement content distribution networks and global traffic management with other services (Elastic Load Balancing [ELB], Amazon API Gateway, VPC Lattice)
  • Work with engineering and product management to build and manage networks that are highly-available, highly performant, and secure.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A university degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years development and/or network administration experience
  • Able to design and build systems using Amazon Web Services
  • Solid understanding of network and security fundamentals (OSI model, network protocols, network attack vectors and countermeasures)
  • Experience with AWS networking and security best practices
  • Experience with Linux systems
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Java, Python, Bash
  • AWS Security or Networking certifications would be an asset

  • Producing clean and efficient code and diagrams
