ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. • Develop and manage Test Plans, VCRM, Test Procedures and Test Reports for submarine upgrades and new programs.
• Provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders for the development of V&V artefacts.
• Oversee the conduct of verification activities to ensure compliance with program requirements and the collection of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for acceptance.
• Witness equipment qualification and factory testing at external suppliers and integration and system testing within the shipyard during submarine build.
• Work collaboratively across programs ensuring a consistent V&V approach, processes and quality is maintained.
