JOB SUMMARY

The Verification Specialist at Tenant Data Verification plays a crucial role in ensuring that all information on a prospective tenant application is valid and accurate. This position involves verifying employment, landlord, accountant, and banking information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft office, proficient typing skills, and excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with real estate management companies, applicants, and other companies/private landlords that need to be called for verification purposes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong typing skills to efficiently type reports and pull the credit/criminal history on a perspective tenant applicant.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with peers, real estate management companies, prospective tenant applicants, and other companies that must be called for verification purposes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Conduct thorough verifications for real estate management companies.
  • Type full reports including all applicant information that was verified.
  • Review and proofread all typed reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dynamic real estate regulations in New York.
  • Collaborate with office staff to help wherever needed such as pulling credit or criminal history reports.
  • Assist in handling incoming calls, direct inquiries, and take messages with a professional demeanor.
